D-Mad & Arston – Match Point (Extended Mix) [Cr2 Records]

Arston is at it again, this time in a brand new collab with fellow progressive house artist D-Mad.  Arston, the Belarusian rising star, had quite a 2012 with the popular release “Empire/Flashmob,” and was named one of Your EDM’s top rising stars of the year (link).  In this newest track, Arston joins forces with up-and-coming Russian producer D-Mad for a powerhouse track.

“Match Point” is an artful progressive anthem with uplifting melodies and an absolutely infectious hook.  The artists use some intricate synth work to lay down the main progression, constantly building on it throughout the track with authentic piano chords and some rising leads.  The main feel is a driving one, with thick clap hits guiding the way as percussive snare hits accentuate the groove.  D-Mad and Arston never lose sight of the melodic composition though, building steadily on the intricate progression until it reaches a fever pitch during the final breakdown.  The final drop is pure energy, as the synths ring out in harmony while the groove drives onward until the end.

The soundscape that these two artists have created is breathtaking.  Arston shows he is truly one of the top rising stars in the game, and D-Mad makes his presence known as a quality up-and-coming producer himself.  “Match Point” is a mesmerizing collaboration, and is featured on Cr2 Records’ jam-packed Miami 2013 Compilation, mixed by MYNC, R3hab, and Nari & Milani.  Pick up your copy today.
