One of Australia’s most exciting DJ/producers, Timmy Trumpet, has just recently released his new single Snapback and the original as well as a few of the remixes are just fantastic. Timmy, who is based out of Sydney, got his big break playing live trumpet over dance tracks and incorporates some choice trumpet samples into his productions. The original of Snapback is a thumping main room electro smasher with a bit of an acid house vibe on the drop which really sets the track apart. Alvaro‘s remix flips the track into a military drum driven Dutch house beast that’s perfect for festival season. Will Sparks‘ remix is just plain massive and may be my favorite of the group, fusing the Melbourne club sound and big room Dutch house and incorporating the original trumpet sample to perfection.
