DC Breaks – Shaman / Let It Go EP [RAM Records]

Here’s an incredible new release by UK-based duo DC Breaks at the hands of RAM Records. Shaman, the first track, is honestly one of the best songs of any genre I’ve heard all year; the energy is absolutely insane. The track starts out with a mysterious intro, slowly fading in the drums and teasing us with a few notes. At the :44 mark, a howling alarm-like sound comes in and induces some goosebumps before building things up and and dropping into a whomping drum & bass masterpiece. The second track, Let It Go, starts off with some liquid-style synth and piano notes and transitions from dubstep to drum & bass the second time around making it an excellent transition track.
