The legendary Deadmau5, aka Joel Zimmerman recently posted a rather uncharacteristic “remix” of his mega hit ‘Ghosts n Stuff‘‘. LUVnSTUFF is a sort of mashup of the classic and Chris Isaak‘s Wicked Game, is produced by his friend Danny Lohner and features Zimmerman‘s fiance Kat Von D on vocals, accompanied by ambient pads and Guitar. Von D‘s vocals unexpectedly are the best part of this soft and haunting tune. The song is emotionally on key and reminds me a lot of the stunning acoustic version of Kaskade‘s 4 AM. This unexpected offering is a pleasant break and while not everyone will enjoy it, it is without a doubt worth a listen.
