Throwback Mix: Villains – Vendetta Pt. 1 [Free Download]

I’ve been on somewhat of a nostalgia kick recently and I was listening to an old CD I made back in April of 2010 the other day that reminded me of a bunch of tracks and artists I hadn’t thought about in years. One of said artists was (former?) Los Angeles-based duo Villains. If you were following the LA electro scene at all a few years ago, you might be familiar with these guys as they were pretty big players. I’m not sure if they’re still together/making music as their Facebook has been inactive for about a year now, but regardless, this mix is awesome and I think everyone should have a listen. I used to rock out to this one 2-3 years ago and I listened to it again this morning and it sounded as good as ever. It’s filled with hard hitting electro and techno and they made it even more interesting by packing it full of their personal edits and bootlegs.
