Only in Las Vegas could a team of world-class DJs unite with a world-renowned production team to create a truly remarkable club experience. This is exactly what is in the works for the new LIGHT club in the Las Vegas hotel, Mandalay Bay. It seems that Skrillex, Zedd, Sebastian Ingrosso and Baauer will all be residents at LIGHT this summer. Mandalay Bay already has ties with Cirque du Soleil and the different residents will be customizing their own unique visuals and ambience. Skrillex was quoted in a Rolling Stone article saying “we’re designing something that fits the club – and that’s what’s cool about LIGHT, too. Every show is gonna feel like a whole different experience.” Zedd was also quoted saying: “I don’t think it’s going to be like a normal electronic music dance show. Those guys have experience with shows that are far away from a normal EDM show.” It will definitely be interesting to see what these artist come up with. UPDATE: Axwell, Laidback Luke and A-Trak will also be a part of this endeavor, adding to the already impressive lineup.
UPDATE 2/15: Rumor has it that Alesso, Bassjackers, Carl Kennedy, Clockwork, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hook N’ Sling, Mat Zo, Nicky Romero, Otto Knows, Sebastian Drums, Stafford Brothers, Steve Powers and Thomas Gold will all be featured at LIGHT.
