Must Die! & Sue Cho‘s new Live It Up EP has set the bar high for other producers in 2013. While people are spouting off at the mouth claiming “dubstep is dead,” we can refer to masterfully produced tracks such as this one and be hopeful of the genre’s future. This is dubstep for the year 2013. The genre is no longer defined by the transformer-esque sounds that dominated the Beatport charts 1-2 years ago. Instead, the sounds have matured and become a little bit less abrasive while still capturing that edgy sound that took so many people’s attention in the first place. Although I’ve only been following this young talent for a few months I think this is his best work to date. Listen for yourself below.
