One of the most talked about New Year’s parties not just in the US but in the world was Eric Prydz at Surrender Las Vegas. Although he recently moved to Los Angeles, the superstar DJ has only graced stateside fans to two shows, in New York City, since wrapping up his touring with Identity Festival earlier this year. No matter what the event, catching the progressive house master live is always a treat. Hell, even listening to a recording of one of his sets is a treat. There are few DJs on Prydz’s level that have enough material to play almost exclusively their own tracks and still be able to mix things up; you never know what you are in store for with one of his sets.
