Pop Rox Muzik are turning into one of my favorite electro/Dutch House labels with release after release really impressing me. The latest comes from Peruvian producers Hot Shit!, and includes some incredible remixes from JDG and Midnight Beats as well. The original mix of Check This Out is some funky complextro, similar to the styles of Darth & Vader or Dirtyloud that hits like a bus. Midnight Beats remix is straight up awesome electro house. The bassline reminds me a little bit of Nicky Romero & David Guetta‘s Metropolis, but harder and without all of the cheesy pop-house synths. Although I really dig the other two, my favorite of the EP is JDG’s remix. He took the track’s horn sample and built the drop around that, giving it a little bit of a Dutch House feel. It’s super bouncy and fun, yet hard enough for peak-time. Check out all three remixes below and support the artists on Beatport if you like what you hear.
