Chocolate Puma & Gregor Salto – Gimme Sum (Original Mix) [Pssst Music]

“Gimme Sum” is a great new Dutch collaboration between the duo Chocolate Puma and individual DJ Gregor Salto. The collaboration makes sense seeing as the three artists are longtime friends all hailing from Haarlem, Netherlands. According to Chocolate Puma’s SoundCloud page, “Gimme Sum” was “inspired by the whole Dance Mania/Chicago/Robert Armani vibe of the late ‘80s, but then with a 2012 Salto/Choco twist.” You get that jazzy old-school feel from the steady beat and repetitive lyric, but the new school Dutch flavor is definitely mixed in. I’ll be looking forward to hearing more of these hybrid types of old school-new school style tracks from them in the future.
