Spoken from the legend himself, it is no surprise that BT and Arty‘s track, Must Be The Love, has been a groundbreaking, genre bending masterpiece that has had the entire EDM scene buzzing with excitement and universal acclaim. Featuring the mellifluous voice of Nadia Ali, this track is one of the most expertly produced tracks not only for this year, but in several years. Released on Armin van Buuren‘s personal label, Armind, this track has been featured extensively in the tracklists for many artists in both trance and progressive house, such as Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, and EDX. Now, with the dance world finally recovering from the sheer magnitude of this modern day epic, Armind has released its top notch remix package to Must Be The Love.
Starting off on the Progressive route, Dutch native Dannic has released his own anthematic version of the tune with a hands-in-the-air melody that builds to an intense dance heavy number with thumping drums and blinding synth textures. Supported by the likes of Thomas Gold, Nicky Romero and Swanky Tunes, it is a perfect piece for festivals around the world.

And on the flip side of things, production legend Shogun gives us a proper trance makeover to Must Be The Love to the cheers of trance fans everywhere. It breaks down into a beautiful piano melody that harkens in Nadia Ali‘s lovely vocals into a true progressive trance drop with power and grace emanating between every synth and pad. A favorite among artists such as Andy Moor, Sied van Riel and Max Graham, it is proof that Shogun is a powerhouse of trance and that his productions aren’t something to overlook.
Finally, we are treated to relatively unknown New Jersey native, Au5 (real name is Austin Collins). While usually creating ‘Trancestep’ (a mix between trance and dubstep), Au5 decided to go into the Progressive Trouse path, with interesting toy piano and thumb-board synths complementing a drop with influences from Electro, Progressive House and Progressive Trance. It creates a nice contrast between the different sounds and their relationships to each other provide new exciting sound possibilities. Already supported by tyDi and Protoculture (two very well regarded trance producers), we at YourEDM are excited to see where this young man’s future goes.
