Jerry Rekonius debuts two new track previews

Jerry Rekonius is one of the hottest rising stars in the global house scene.  Hailing from Sweden, and only 23 years of age, Jerry Rekonius already has a solid body of work to his name.  He has released tracks on labels such as Spinnin’ Records, Oxygen, and Whartone.  He’s also responsible for massive singles like “Powahbunga” (Spinnin’ Records, 2011) and “Paranormal” (Spinnin’ Records, 2012), which both tore up the Beatport charts.  Most recently he crafted a remix of Mark Bale’s “Gimme Some Love” (We Play, 2012).  Now the Swedish up-and-comer is gearing up for his newest release, “Turn Up the Bass,” due to be released off Spinnin’ Records on November 5th.  However, Mr. Rekonius has also been hard at work crafting two other new tracks, both of which are reworks of progressive house mainstays, but with his notably massive style infused into them.  Today he released previews of both, and they do not disappoint.

The first preview is for an edit of AN21 & Max Vangeli’s “Bombs Over Capitals,” where Mr. Rekonius takes the original groove and throws a deep bass, along with some massive synth work, on top to give it a massive groove.  The second preview is for Jerry Rekonius’ rework of Alesso & Sebastian Ingrosso’s iconic single “Calling (Lose My Mind).”  Mr. Rekonius takes the original vocals and adds in a huge melodic build-up courtesy of some fantastic synth work.  The drop is monumental, with a powerful lead and a rumbling bass driving the feel.

These previewed tracks do not yet have a release date, but expect more updates within the next few weeks.  In the meantime, you can also preview Jerry Rekonius’ upcoming single “Turn Up the Bass” here, which is due for a November 5th release.  Jerry Rekonius keeps on making magic, and the talented young producer doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
