Avicii feat. Salem Al Fakir – Silhouettes (Remix Package) [Le7els]

The Swedish house superstar Avicii’s chart topping latest release Silhouettes has been played and overplayed throughout radio stations and DJ’s sets since its release and as such is becoming a bore. Thus it is no surprise that the team at Le7els decided to contact some rising stars in the scene to give a breath of fresh air to this overly abused and utilized track. With Lazy Rich, EDX and Syn Cole at the head of this remix package, the result is anything but predictable. Ranging from strong electro house leads with Lazy Rich’s impressive application of his bouncy sawy and electro induced kicks, to EDX’s more commercial house approach, this collection of artists and innovative takes on the original allow for a quite interesting new release package that will most definitely extend the shelf life of the original mix and its sound. Let us know what you think and which one is your favorite in the comment section.

Note: Whoever named the genre for this release needs to be educated as to what Progressive House is, because not only are none of these remixes the same subgenre of house, but they are very far from Progressive House.
