French prodigy producer and DJ Madeon has just released his latest track titled The City on his own label popcultur. After having previewed the track only a few days ago with a well designed and artistic albeit short music video, The City truly showcases to what extent the artist has grown and mastered his technique. This latest release gives us hope as it is one of those rare and unique gems among the reiteration of commercial house tracks that currently dominates the genre. Built using Madeon’s trademarked disco synths but contains an oh so different tone than his prior releases like Finale, I would highly recommend listening to this beautifully constructed production.
The City is part of a greater Madeon EP that will be released on September 25th.
