With the release of Coldplay‘s new album Mylo Xyloto earlier this year, the British band has been a remix sensation–Swedish House Mafia and Avicii both tried their hands at remixing Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall, and Tiesto and Fedde le Grand worked on Paradise. But German producer Jacques Lu Cont took a bit of a different approach to Charlie Brown: while the vocal samples at the beginning are a bit jarring, Lu Cont‘s remix ends up being a successful deadmau5-inspired progressive electro mix, with a groovy beat and a unique, peppy energy.
