Alongside the release of the Tomorrowland 2012 anthem, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike teamed up with fellow Benelux producer Yves V in a reboot of D*Note‘s classic anthem Shed My Skin. Originally released in 2002, Shed My Skin was a groundbreaking track at the time, featuring a soulful, sorrowful vocal backed by moody strings. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, alongside Yves V, updated the track with a modern 2012 sound; foregoing the atmospheric minimalism in favor of a more club-friendly song, this Shed My Skin remix juxtaposes a stuttering electro bassline against a beautiful trance-inspired breakdown.
